Doha, Qatar- The Two global sport stars came across together at Aspetar on Sunday, the orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital, as Olympic champion and world-record holding French pole vaulter Renaud Lavillenie met up with Samuel Umtiti, the FC Barcelona star currently in Doha.
Aspetar plays an essential role in the development of sports in the State of Qatar. Shaped by its vision to be a global leader in sports medicine and exercise science by 2020, the pioneering Doha hospital has become a preferred destination for athletes to experience world-class medical service, including many of the best-known figures in football. Recent visitors to the clinic include Tottenham Hotspur’s Moussa Dembele, who concluded his rehabilitation at Aspetar and returned to team training in November 2018.
