Doha, Qatar- Qatar’s joint special forces team on claimed the top honours in the 1st Asiania Indoor Skydiving Championship 2018, in Chongqing, China, today.
The sport utilises recreational wind tunnels, that enables the participants to experience the sensation of flight without planes or parachutes.
Air moves upwards at approximately 195 km/h and it pushes the skydivers upwards.
The vertical wind tunnel is frequently called 'indoor skydiving' due to the popularity of vertical wind tunnels among skydivers, who report that the sensation is extremely similar to skydiving.
