Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven are set to have their winter training camp in Doha, the club's official website said in a post.

The PSV senior squad will fly out to Doha on January 4, 2019, for an eight-day training camp.

The Dutch side, coached by head coach Mark van Bommel, will stay in the capital until January 12, it said on its website.

The players will be put through their paces in the Aspire Academy training facilities in Doha. PSV will play a friendly match against an opponent yet to be confirmed.

Just last week, Italian giants Inter and PSV played out a 1-1 draw in San Siro on Tuesday night in a very entertaining game.

Lozano’s 13th-minute opening goal was cancelled out by Icardi’s strike on 73 minutes.

PSV collected two points from their six Group B games and exit the tournament with heads held high.

FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur shared honours in a 1-1 draw in the other Group B game, so Spurs are through to the round of 16 while Inter will compete in the Europa League after the winter.

After a 1-1 draw at Internazionale on Tuesday, PSV returned to domestic action on Saturday with a trip to Almelo to face Heracles. It will one of two matches before the club goes into winter break until January 20 when they play FC Emmen.

PSG, the French giants owned by Qatar, will also camp in Doha for a separate winter camp later this month.
