The Qatari tennis team will participate in the GCC Tennis Championship (U14 and U18) to be held in Oman from December 22 to 29, 2018 with participation of 5 national teams.
In boys under 14 years category, the state of Qatar will be represented by Ali Al Saadi, Rashed Nawaf, Meshari Nawaf and Ali Al Yafei while Qatar's Ghanim Al Khelaifi, Saeed Al Kuwari will participate in boys under 18 years event.
Khalid Al Khelaifi, Board Member of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) and Chairman of National Teams Committee stressed the importance of the GCC tournaments as they contribute to the development of national teams and provide the Qatari players with required experience.
Al Khelaifi wished the best for the Qatari players at this important gathering and reaffirmed that the QTSBF is confident that its players can show their best in the GCC Championship.
