GEN NEXT CRICKET INSTITUTE CHENNAI TO TOUR QATAR

Gen Next Cricket Institute - based in Indian city of Chennai - will play a series of Twenty20 matches against Bravo Cricket Club (BCC) during their nine-day tour of Qatar.

The institute which has India’s spin bowling icon. Ravichandran Ashwin as its Ambassador and Chief Mentor will arriving in Qatar tomorrow and will play their matches at MIC Sports Complex, Mesaieed and Al Khor Workers Sports Complex.

BCC will host the Under 14 team from India, which prides itself in producing high quality cricketers, from tomorrow to December 29.

In August this year, BCC toured Gen Next Cricket Institute and the BCC’s boys are eagerly waiting to take on the Chennai trainees.

Sudarshan, Chief Operating Officer of Gen Next Cricket Institute will accompany the team from India.

“Our Under 14 boys are excitedly looking forward to play the cricket tournament with the promising young lads of BCC,” said  Sudarshan.

“BCC and Gen Next feel honored to be associated with each other. This will be an opportunity for both teams to showcase their cricketing talent and to build relationship between both clubs and countries,” he added.

“BCC Qatar was founded in June 2017 and is registered under the Qatar Cricket Association. The Club helps to nurture and empower youth to reach their full potential, develop their skills and build their temperament to excel as cricketers,” said BCC club official Christopher.

“The club’s strength is in the development of players through the highest standard of coaching and programs.  Since the early days, the academy has continued to move from “strength to strength”, starting with kid’s team to youth and men’s team along with growing women’s team,” he added.
