The Qatar National Football Team notched up another win in their buildup to the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019, defeating Kyrgyzstan 1-0 in a friendly match at The Khalifa International Stadium in Doha on Tuesday.
The Qatari skipper Ali Afif scored the winner in the 69th minute.
Qatar, who are in Group E, will face Lebanon on January 9 in their opening Asian Cup match. They will then face DPR Korea on January 13 before concluding their group stage campaign against three-time champions Saudi Arabia four days later.
