The Second Division league kicked off yesterday, as Mesaimeer SC overpowered Al Markhiya SC 4-2 at Al Wakrah Stadium.
Mesaimeer's goals were scored by Elbahr Mahmoud in the (18th and 54th minute), Al Douni Ahmed in the 23rd minute and Mohammed Feid in the 47th minute.
Nana Poku scored two goals for Al Markhia SC in the (52nd minute and 57th minute).
While Al Kharaitiyat SC defeated Al Bidda SC 4-1 at Al Khor stadium, Lusail SC beat Al Waab SC 4-0 at Al Wakrah stadium and Muaither SC and Al Shamal SC played out a 2-2 draw at Al Arabi stadium.
