SAMBA QUALIFIES FOR 400M HURDLES FINAL

Following his flying start on day one of the IAAF World Athletics Championships, finishing with the fastest time across all heats in the 400m hurdles, Abderrahman Samba, Qatari Asian Champion, qualified for the final yesterday. 


Finishing second in heat 3, with a time of 48.72 seconds, Samba came in just behind American Rai Benjamin, who crossed the finish line in 48.52 seconds. 


The final will take place on Monday, with a star-studded line-up of eight track-and-field athletes from around the world competing for gold.
