The IAAF World Athletics Championships kicked off its 5th day with exciting rounds for Qatar. Qatar's pride Mutaz Barshim qualifies for the final in high jump after clearing a 2.29, his season's best. Ashraf Al Seify qualified for the final round of hammer throw with a mark of 76.22 his season's best as well.
The high jump final will begin on the 4th of October at 20:15 Doha time.
Hammer throw finals will take place on the 2nd of October at 21:40 Doha time.
Mariam Farid finishes the 400m hurdles heats with a time of 1:09.49, her personal best and Qatar’s Abdelalah Haroun finishes the men's 400m heats in 47.76s his season's best. Yaser Bagharab finishes the men's 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 8:25.79. Although many of the team members were able to beat their personal score; it was not enough against world athletes.
