In round three of the Second Division League, Al Kharaitiyat dominated Al Shamal 3-1, as Mesaimeer made a miracle comeback against Muaither.

Al Kharaitiyat wasted no time opening the scoreline in their match against Al Shamal, as Mounir El Hamdaoui slotted an effortless first goal in the eighth minute. In the 25th minute, El Hamdaoui scored an almost identical goal. Just 11 minutes later, Ahmed Al Sada scored Kharaitiyat's third and final goal.

Despite Kharaitiyat's complete domination of the first half, Al Shamal had not given up, as Mousa Al Allaq scored Al Shamal's first and only goal in the 55th minute.

When Mesaimeer took on Muaither, half of the match's goals came as a result of penalties being awarded. Following a yellow card for Mesaimeer's Khaled Jaberti after a foul in the box, Muaither's Ayoub Ouadrassi converted his penalty in the ninth minute, putting his side ahead.

The match remained 1-0 for the rest of the first half, and in the 52nd minute, Mesaimeer gave away a second penalty, which Mamadou Diawara put past his opponent's goalkeeper, doubling his side's lead.

Just five minutes later, however, Muaither also gave away a penalty, which Mesaimeer's Ahmed Aldouni took full advantage of, as did the rest of his team - their first goal acted as a catalyst for what was to come for the match's remaining 33 minutes.

After another five minutes, in the 62nd minute, Aldouni scored again, in what was the first organic goal the fixture had seen.

In the 88th, Abdullah Al Deyani got his name on the score-sheet, after an appalling goalkeeping error from Muaither's Abdullah El Rady.

Mesaimeer were not done yet, however, as four minutes later Mohammed Hares trampled El Rady to score their fourth and final goal, with the last kick of the match.

The night's matches keep Al Kharaitiyat and Mesaimeer neck-and-neck at the top of the table going into round four.
