The fifth edition of the Aspire Academy Global Summit on football performance and science came to a close today. The three-day event, which has previously taken place in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and London, was hosted in the brand new, state of the art, Aspire Academy Football Performance Centre.
Aiming to encourage open discussion around football analysis and performance, international experts gathered to share intel and techniques with both well-established football coaches, as well as up-and-coming managers.
The star-studded line-up included in-depth interviews with Samuel Eto’o, Tim Cahill, Felix Sanchez, Hernan Crespo, Heimir Hallgrimsson and Slavisa Jokanovic, as well as a workshop led by Mauricio Pochettino.
Multiple panel discussions took place over the course of the summit, as well as closed-door workshop sessions for the Aspire Fellows – an international group of coaching staff from various football clubs and federations, who work to bring together knowledge and expertise.
