Doha, Qatar- QNB Stars League is still in the seventh week, and the
seventh week is expected to see a great competition between the different teams
vying for victories and the three points that come with it.
This week's matches will take place
over three days. On Thursday Al-Ahly face Al-Dahil on their home turf at the Hamad
Bin Khalifa Stadium, while Qatar Sports Club take on Al-Sadd at Suhaim Bin
Hamad Stadium.
Last week Al-Sadd drubbed Al-Rayyan
5-0 and thus pushed them from the top of the QNB Stars League to fifth spot.
Al-Sadd, currently are sitting pretty on the top with 13 points. Al-Duhail are
second with 13 points. They are behind Al-Sadd on goal difference.
Al-Sailiya are in third place with
12 points, and the Arab progressed from the fifth to the fourth with 12 points on
the board.
Al-Rayyan dropped to fifth place
with 11 points, Umm Salal from seventh to sixth with 10 points and Al-Gharafa have
7 points.
Al Shahaniya
maintained eighth place with 7 points, Al Ahly finished ninth with 6 points,
Qatar Spots Club are on 10th spot with 4 points. Al Khor are on 11th with two
points and Al Kharaitiyat, who have yet to open their account, are 12th.
