The seventh round of the QNB Football Stars League started with a draw between Al Ahli and Al Shahaniya. Al-Shahaniya equalized the game minutes before the final whistle with a penalty from Ramin, ending the game 2-2.
Al-Rayyan currently hold the top spot of the league, having won its 15th point against Qatar Sports club in a whopping 5 goal victory. The game ended 5-0, and left Qatar Sports Club continuing to suffer in the overall standings.
On the other hand, Al-Sailiya recovered in the standings, succeeding in achieving its third victory this season against Al-Wakra 3-1. In light of this result, Al-Sailiya raised its standing to 10 points, stopping Al-Wakra in its tracks at 7 points.
