The Qatar national Handball team
dominated their Indian counterpart, as the hosts won the match 40-10 in the
Asian men’s qualifiers for Tokyo 2020 Olympics at the Duhail Sports Hall.
Qatar sealed their position in Group A with a powerful win against India in the presence of Jassim Rashid al-Buanain, Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee, previously defeating Hong Kong 49-14 in their opening fixture last Thursday.
The three-time Asian champions and runners-up at the 2015 World championships are now at the top of Group A, above Saudi Arabia, India, and Hong Kong. Qatar are now set to face Saudi Arabia on Monday the 21st.
