Round eight of the QNB Stars League will begin tonight at
Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium with a clash between eighth-in-the-league Al Wakrah
and tenth place Al Khor at 5:20pm. Later on at 7:30pm, Umm Salal will face
Qatar SC at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.
Tomorrow will see bottom-of-the-league Al Shahania take on
Al Sailiya at 5:20pm at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium, before Al Arabi face Al
Rayyan at 7:30pm at Grand Hamad Stadium. Al Rayyan will be looking to gain
three crucial points to overtake Al Duhail at the top of the table.
On Saturday night at 5:20pm, reigning champions Al Sadd will
face Al Ahli at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium. Only five points behind current
league leaders Al Duhail, with two games in hand, Al Sadd will be looking to take
full advantage of their upcoming games.
At 7:30pm, Al Duhail, currently on seventeen points, will
face Al Gharafa, who will be looking to collect all three points on offer in
order to sit at the top of the table alongside Al Duhail.
