The Qatar AlGannas association welcomes the commencement of the hunting season with Isfiri 2019 Falconry Championship in its sixth edition one of the oldest hunting practices in Qatar; the championship consists of Daoo (the call), the falcon awaits the call of an assistant from a distance to a lure consisting of pigeon wings.
Today in the Isfiri championships the Shaheen and the Gyr Shaheen category’s has concluded were the top ten contestants from each category will move on to the finals, tomorrow the competition will run the pure saker and the chick pure saker categories; the tournament will run from the 28th of October and Concluding on the 2nd of November at al Qararis, al Khor starting from 1pm.
