Qatar Football Association (QFA) and Qatar Shell have announced the start to the eight seasons of Koora Time, which is an initiative that was founded in 2012 to improve the health & wellbeing of youths in Qatar, managing to reach over 100,000 youth since its initiation.
A coaching seminar lasting for 2 days was organised by Aspire Academy in preparation for the new season. A total of 180 coaches attended the seminar, taking advantage of the opportunity to enhance their knowledge-base and teaching skills.
The new season’s programme will be taking place in over 30 venues including 31 schools all around Doha, with an expectation of 3,500 students taking part weekly, the initiative started on the 27th of October and will continue till the 25th of April 2020.
The seminar which started on the 27th of October, mainly focused on topics ranging from the programmes philosophy, mission and how to prepare and lead a session, to activities promoting, inspiring healthier habits and lifestyles.
