Meriem Guettat
After the successful conclusion of 2018-19 season University League, the new season kicked-off on the 24th of October, all teams are looking to make strong preparations ahead of the new season (2019-20), in which the same number of Universities (12) will be in action. The league is a co-organisation and hosting of Qatar Football Association and Qatar Foundation, the games matches take place at Awsaj Recreation Pitch 4, in rounds of three matches on the weekends Thursday and Saturday, from 19:00-21:00 Doha time.
The competing Universities in Group A Georgetown, Virginia Common Wealth, Weill Cornell Medical College, Carnegie Mellon, College of North Atlantic, Qatar University. In Group B, Qatar Aeronautical College, Northwestern, Hamad bin Khalifa, Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College, Taxes A&M, Academic Bridge Program.
The Group rounds will run till the 23rd of November, where on the 28th of November the final of the group matches will take place. The schedule for the league is as followed in the table below.
