The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) says it is ready to ‘welcome’ the eight teams set to participate in the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup and their fans for the region’s most popular national Football event after it was announced that Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain had agreed to feature in the historical tournament. Following these events, the dates of the tournament were adjusted, with the new tournament dates set to be from the 27th of November to the 8th of December.

Jassim Al-Rumaihi, Secretary-general of the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation expresses Qatar's optimism in hosting the entire GCC for this event and reiterates Qatar's welcoming of fans from all countries, stating  'Qatar has its doors open to all visitors.'

Qatar is holding a new draw for the 24th Gulf Cup today at 17:30 Doha time in wake of these new developments, having held the original draw for five teams around three weeks ago for the event without the confirmation of the absent countries Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain.
