The Qatar Stars League will be participating a football festival organized by the Yarmouk Preparatory School for Boys in co-operation with Corporate Social Responsibility. This is the second year in a row in which QSL will be participating in the event, which will be under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and higher Education.
The festival, which will be attended by many school students as well as various sports and media personnel, will be held on November 21st. The event lies on a greatly noteworthy date, being the start date for the FIFA World Cup three years from now. This comes as a statement to the world that the World Cup in Qatar is the first in the Arab world, leaving behind a benchmark for generations to come.
The Sport's Education Co-ordinator for the Yarmouk School Abdullah Mubarak said in a statement: “We’re pleased to organise this festival, which will see the participation of several sports and educational bodies, and we hope that it serves the purpose.”
