The Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced that the Gold Line of the Doha Metro will open to the public in a trial operation on Thursday the 21st of November.
The Gold Line stretches from Ras Bu Abboud, running though 11 stations including Msheireb, where users can switch from the red line, to Al Aziziyah.
This comes as the country gears up to host the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup at Khalifa International Stadium - just walking distance from Sport City station, the penultimate stop on the Gold Line.
Operation timings for the Gold Line will mirror those of the Red Line: 6am - 11pm throughout the week, and 2pm - 11pm on Fridays.
