QTSBF, EXXONMOBIL RENEW QATAR OPEN SPONSORSHIP DEAL

ExxonMobil Qatar, the title sponsor of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, renewed its sponsorship agreement of the ATP 250 Tournament with Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) for another three years, it was announced during a press conference yesterday.

The event was attended by president of QTSBF Nasser bin Ghanim Al Khelaifi and President and General Manager for ExxonMobil Qatar Alistair Routledge and other officials of both organisations.

ExxonMobil Qatar has been the title sponsor of the annual tennis tournament for the last 27 years. The partnership extension is a further proof of the two organisations unwavering commitment to supporting Qatar on its journey toward accomplishing the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

QTSBF President Nasser Al Khelaifi said: “The enduring strategic partnership between our two great organisations is one of the oldest in Qatar. It is an alliance that has come to define what a synergy between partners with similar goals and visions can achieve when given the opportunity.”

“The tournament has continued to grow in leaps and bounds over the years and we are immensely proud of our achievements, which includes winning the prestigious ATP 250 Tournament of the Year on two occasions. It is an accomplishment which is unrivalled in the region, as well as others too numerous to mention here,” the QTSBF President said.

“Our partnership with ExxonMobil Qatar is a key enabler for QTF to organise a high-quality event for all in attendance, and to continue to define Qatar as a globally renowned and vibrant center for world-class sporting events,” he added.

Routledge said: “Our partnership with QTF is not just about bringing exceptional tennis to Qatar for the world to see its also about supporting the Qatar National Vision 2030 by promoting a healthier and stronger local community that can contribute to the country’s future.”
