Qatar is set to participate in the 16th GCC Basketball Championship 2019, which will be hosted and organized by the State of Kuwait, and will begin at Kuwait Sports Club Arena on Saturday.
Five countries will be in attendance in the competition: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and hosts Kuwait. The competition will last a week starting from Saturday. Among the first to participate, UAE will face off against Bahrain in the opening matches of the championship, while the second fixture will see hosts Kuwait go head to head with the Saudi Arabian Team. The Qatari team will face their first opponent Bahrain on Sunday.
