Yesterday, in the third round of the Ooredoo Cup, Al Shahania tied with Al Wakrah in a goalless draw, giving Al Shahania their first point of the tournament. Meanwhile, Al Ahli managed to achieve an impressive 4-1 victory over Al Sadd, and Umm Salal tied 2-2 against Al Rayyan.
This places Al Rayyan at the top of Group A with seven points, with Al Ahli just one point behind in second place. Al Wakrah move down the table into third place.
On Friday in Group B, Al Khor continued their strong start in the Ooredoo Cup, beating Al Gharafa 3-1. Meanwhile, Al Sailiya ended their game with a 2-2 draw against Al Duhail, and Al Arabi held Qatar SC to a 1-1 draw.
With this win, Al-Khor moved to the top of Group B alongside Qatar SC, with seven points, while Al Gharafa has remained on one point. Al Arabi sits in third position on five points.
