The ninth edition of the Katara Traditional Dhow Festival began today, with the participation of 12 countries from around the globe, gathering together to celebrate a shared maritime tradition. The festival is even more pertinent than usual this year, as it is taking place on the sidelines of the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup, which is currently ongoing in Qatar.
