Saudi club Al Hilal arrive in Doha for Club World Cup

Doha: Al Hilal Saudi Football Club, the Asian Champions, have arrived in Doha in preparation for FIFA Club World Cup 2019. It will begin its match with Tunisia's Esperance Sportive de Tunis, "the African Champions", on Saturday in the quarter-final round at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Club.

The winners will face Brazil's Flamengo, champion of Copa Libertadores of South American Clubs.

Nawaf Al-Abed joined Al Hilal Team as a substitute for Salman Al-Faraj, who sustained an injury playing for Saudi national team in the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup.

Al Hilal qualified to the Club World Cup 2019 after winning the AFC Champions League last month, after beating the Japan's Urawa.

Al Hilal's coach, Razvan Lucescu said on arrival in Doha: "I am proud to be here with my team in the Club World Cup. We will be among the best in the world and compete with the six continental champions. We will do our best in this important international tournament. We have prepared well to achieve our desired goal."
