The sports, cultural and social activities continued in style at the QOC winter camp being held in cooperation with Qatar Tourism Authority at Sealine Beach.
The Qatar Handball Association (QHA) held a beach handball tournament, featured the participation of 10 teams including Al Rayyan, Al Saad, Al Duhail, Al Ahli, Al Gharafa, Al Khor, Qatar SC, Al Shammal and Al Arabi.
Al Sadd claimed the title while Al Ahli and Al Arabic occupied the second and the third places respectively.
The QHA Assistant Secretary General Khalifa Tayseer lauded the atmosphere of the tournament and stressed that the participation of the clubs comes in light of their social activities.
“The camp visitors enjoyed the tournament as the clubs participated with their best players in this age category" He said.
For his part, the Camp Director and Head of the QOC Sports Legacy Unit Mohammad Saeed Al Misned thanked the QHA family for their commitment to participate in the camp activities and organize such a successful tournament.
“The camp provides the perfect setting for families and friends to experience a wide range of sports and entertainment activities" He said.
