The U-18 Palestinian Women's Football Team will travel today to Bahrain to participate in the 2019 West Asian Football Championship, which will be held from the 29th of December to the 6th of January.
The draw placed the Palestinian team in pool B with Kuwait, and host Bahrain. While pool A features Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and the UAE.
The Palestinian team concluded its camp in Doha by defeating the Qatari team in an important international friendly experience for both parties. The team’s preparations for the championship were ideal and involved training in the country and abroad, as well as daily exercises.
The championship’s matches will take place at the Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
