Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa both recorded important wins in the final round of the 2019 calendar year of the basketball league. Al Rayyan beat Al Ahli 88-75 and Al Gharafa recorded an even bigger win 96-73 against Al Khor. In the first game, Al Rayyan were in complete control as they brushed aside Al Ahli. They won 22-18, 21-13, 26-14, and 19-20. The win gave Al Rayyan 12 points to joint Al Wakra at the top. Al Ahli is joint third with two other teams having collected 11 points. In the second game, Al Gharafa ended the year with a dominant display against Al Khor. They won 15-11, 30-18, 21-25, and 30-19. The win gave them their 11th point, level with Qatar and Al Ahli in third place.
