Qatar national volleyball team to face Indian counterpart

Qatar volleyball team will meet their Indian counterpart tomorrow, Tuesday, in the launch of the Asian qualifiers for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, held in China from the 7-12th of January. The Qatar team will play the qualifications in Pool B alongside; Australia, Korea, and India, while in Pool A includes; Iran, China, Taipei, and Kazakhstan.

Qatar will play its second match on the 8th of January against Australia, ending the group stages on the 9th against Korea.

As part of their preparation for the Asian Qualifiers, the Qatar team had been in an overseas camp in China for a week.

The team consists of; Ali Abdullah Al-Haddad as head of the delegation and Camilo Soto as coach, while the players include: Othman Abdel Wahid, Ahmed Bassam, Sultan Abdullah, Mubarak Dahi, Ahmed Jamal, Ibrahim Saeed, Suleiman Saeed, Bilal Nabil, Nader Abu Bakr, Miloosh, Renan, Naji Mahmoud, Khaled Shamiya and Mahmoud Essam.
