Qatar ensured its second consecutive victory after beating Australia in the 2020 Men's Volleyball Asian Olympic Qualification Tournament in Jiangmen, China on Wednesday.
The win brought Qatar one step closer and virtually ensured their qualification to the semifinal of the tournament.
Qatar won the fixture 25-15, 25-21, 25-23 in 88 minutes, and now top Pool B with six points. Gerald Goiano continued his brilliant performances, claiming 14 points for Qatar.
Also in Pool B, South Korea picked up a win against India scoring 25-19, 25-20, 25-23 also on the same day, while Pool A dominators Iran breezed past Kazakhstan for their second consecutive win.
