This morning, the Ministry of Culture and Sports held a closing ceremony for the activities of "Doha, the capital of Islamic youth" at the Doha Exhibition and Conference Center on the main stage of the 30th Doha International Book Fair, in the presence of a number of ministers and ambassadors.
This event comes as a culmination of the activities of "Doha, the capital of Islamic youth" throughout the year 2019, under the slogan "the nation with its youth", and based on the Qatar National Vision 2030, and the belief of the rational leadership in the active role of youth.
The ceremony will witness the culmination of the winners of the "Doha, the Capital of Islamic Youth" awards, which include the Doha Prize for Youth Innovation in its three tracks.
The winners of the Doha Oasis Innovation event will be crowned, in addition to honoring the youth of the Islamic world who participated actively and demonstrated their creativity during the activities of the capital that Doha embraced throughout the year, then handing the key that is the symbol and logo of the main event to the host country in the year 2020.
The ceremony will include a speech by HE Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali, Minister of Culture and Sports, a speech for the representative of the Islamic Youth Forum, and a speech for the representative of “Doha - OIC Youth Capital 2019”, where they will receive the key to the capital from Doha, in addition to honoring “Doha, the capital of Islamic youth” Islamic Youth Forum.
