Qatar achieved their second Group B victory in the Preliminary Round of the Asian Men's Handball Championship, currently being held in Kuwait, as they defeated Japan 36-28. The competition’s reigning champions will face South Korea on Monday in their first 'Placement Round' match as they hope to continue their winning streak and take home the title for the third consecutive year.
Having topped their group in the first round, Qatar will now be playing alongside South Korea and Iran, as well as host nation Kuwait.
