Al-Arabi maintained their position at the top of the Qatar Basketball League, after winning their tenth game out of twelve, in a dominant display against 6th place Al-Ahli. Muhammad Harat’s outstanding performance of 25 points and 17 rebounds as well as Galloway’s brilliance in setting up the attacks, lead Al-Arabi to a 6th consecutive victory by a margin of ninety-eight to seventy-two.
Next Thursday, Al-Arabi will face 5th place Al Rayyan in a crucial matchup, whilst Al-Ahli will face Al-Gharaffa this coming Wednesday.
Al-Gharafa outscored Al-Khor by one hundred and eight points to sixty-one points, a difference of forty-seven points due to Nelson’s thirty-one points and twenty rebounds. In light of this result, Al-Gharafa remains just two points away from the summit, while Al-Khor occupies the penultimate position with only one victory and eleven defeats.
