The Bayern Munich women’s team arrived in Doha last night for their winter training camp ahead of the second half of the season. On their first day here, the team participated in a training session alongside the Qatar National Women’s team at Aspire. The session, involving both senior and junior members of Qatar’s squad, was organised in participation with the Qatar Women’s Sport Committee.
Christopher Keil, Head of Public Affairs & CSR at Bayern Munich, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, “We want to bring the game to the girls, we want to encourage them to do sports, because we believe that if you do sports, you are prepared for life - especially if you do women’s football.”
The German side, who are currently third in the Frauen-Bundesliga will train in the Qatari capital until the 26th of January.
