The sixth edition of the Color Run presented by Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First, an initiative of Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, is returning to Doha on January 25, at the QNCC.
As part of the worldwide “Love Tour”, the fun-filled day will be spreading joy and raising awareness of the health benefits of keeping an active lifestyle. Participants will be soaked in bright colors as they run, walk, skip or jog along the 5km course with their family and friends.
Since its inception in 2012, The Color Run has become a global phenomenon. The Color Run has been experienced by over 6 million people worldwide in 35+ countries and has donated a staggering $5 million to charity globally.
The 2019 event was a major success, with almost 10,000 runners participating in The Happiest 5k on the Planet. The 2020 edition promises to be bigger and better with even more people expected to take part. The event aims to encourage participants of all ages to be aware of the benefits of keeping fit and taking care of their well-being.
Everyone will celebrate their achievements at the end with prizes, music, photo opportunities, and a myriad of unforgettable moments. The Color Run aims to attract everyone in Doha to participate in an exhilarating and colorful experience in order to encourage them to adopt a healthy and vigorous lifestyle.
