Doha, Qatar- Al-Markhiya SC take on Al-Mesaimeer SC, while Al-Wakrah sc meet Muaither SC in ‘Round Two’ of the Second Division of the QNB Stars League, here on Wednesday.
Messiemir SC enjoy the home crowd advantage against Al-Markhiya SC and would be looking forward to a good start. The second match will be held at Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium, home of Al-Wakrah SC.
In the first round matches, Al-Wakrah SC defeated Messiemir SC 3-1, and Al-Markhiya SC went past Al-Bidda SC 2-0.
The Second Division, this season is witnessing the participation of six teams. Muaither SC, Al-Shamal SC, Al-Wakrah SC, Messiemir SC and Al-Markhiya SC have been joined by a team - Al-Bidda SC, this season.
Al-Bidda SC, are the only amateur league teams to get promoted to the Second Division, this year.
