The 3rd edition of the Al Dasha Festival, organised by the Doha Marine Sports Club, was launched on Tuesday, in conjunction with the National Sports Day, scheduled for the second Tuesday of February of each year, the festival will continue until Saturday the 15th of February, seeing a participation 224 contestants.
The festival is witnessing the establishment of 6 championships: the Waterbike Junior Spark championship, the Aquatic Championship, traditional sailing championship, traditional rowing championship, fishing, and modern sailing marathon.
The Al Dasha festival activities are not limited to competitions only, but there accompanying events prepared by the Doha Marine Sports Club in order to attract the largest possible number of fans in the accompanying events, as there are many accompanying events for some of the participating companies from the Qatari factories, all related to marine matters and some cafes and restaurants.
