The one-off CAF organised Super Cup game pits the winners of the previous CAF Champions League (Tunisia's Esperance Sportive de Tunis who won the tournament in controversial circumstances) against the victors from the CAF Confederation Cup, Egypt's Zamalek SC who saw-off Morocco's Berkane on a penalty shoot-out.
The Qatari capital of Doha hosts the Super Cup with the Gulf city agreeing to terms with CAF to stage three consecutive Super Cup games. Friday's match marks the second contest of the agreed deal.
Both sides arrive in Qatar following strong starts to their respective domestic campaigns as Esperance top the Tunisian top flight with Zamalek in third place in the Egyptian Premier League with Cairo rivals Al-Ahly unstoppable at the summit with 14 wins from 14 games.
The 2020 CAF Super Cup final will kick-off at the sold-out Thani bin Jassim Stadium in Al Rayann on the outskirts of Doha on Friday 14 February 2020 at 19:00 Doha time.
