Uzbekistan’s Abdushukur Sobirjonov, astride 12-year-old stallion Demilion, grabbed the Big Tour title at the Longines Hathab National Series held on the sidelines of CHI Al Shaqab on Saturday.

At the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, Sobirjonov came home in 44.56 seconds with Demilion to take home QR8,750 in prize-money.

Qatar’s Hamad Nasser al Qadi, riding SIEC Lonnie, took a second spot with 46.70 secs, followed by his compatriot Salman Mohamed al Emadi on Zorro Z in 48.74 secs.

The Open Class was won by Qatar’s Mohamed Saeed Haidan with 12-year-old mare Miss Chili. The pair completed their round in 26.28 secs to top the 1.20m class. Alqaqa Adel Nassar of Qatar was second with Dubaii in 27.17 secs, while Frenchwoman Cyrine Cherif was third on Brennus Villelongue in 28.36 secs.ResultsLongines Hathab National Series
