The 25th edition of the ITTF Qatar Open will begin today,
with top table tennis stars in action at Doha’s Aspire Dome, with the
participation of top seeds from around the world.
The tournament will be held until the 8th of
March, with a staggering $400,000 up for grabs in prize money across five
categories, with the preliminary matches scheduled for today and tomorrow.
The Qatar Open is the second out of six Platinum Series
events on the ITTF World Tour, with the players fighting for points to qualify
for the season ending 2020 ITTF World Tour Grand Final, taking place from 10th-13th
December.
