FIFA World Cup winner Xavi Hernandez will feature in Generation Amazings Instagram Live session to discuss health and fitness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) ambassador will also talk about the Generation Amazing program, which is currently active in nine countries and has positively impacted the lives of more than 500,000 people. Generation Amazing - a Qatar 2022 legacy program - harnesses the power of football to deliver sustainable positive change in underprivileged communities.
Generation Amazing started daily live streams last week as it aims to continue engaging with its stakeholders and audience during the ongoing pandemic. The sessions occur every weekday on its Facebook and Instagram channels: @GA4Good.
Xavi, who is currently the head coach of Qatar Stars League team Al Sadd, said: "I am very excited to be joining Generation Amazings Instagram Live sessions to talk about how football and sporting values can help us in these challenging times.
