Doha, Qatar- Al-Rayyan are keen on getting back to winning ways following their 5-0 drubbing to Al-Sadd in the QNB Stars League, also dubbed at ‘Qatar Clasico’, last week.
Al-Rayyan captain Rodrigo Tabata and striker Sebastian Soria met the club vice-president Abdulla Al Mutawa, on Tuesday, and expressed their desire to improve their standings in the league. Following their defeat at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, the league leader fell to fifth spot.
Team manager Rodolfo Martin Arruabarrena too was present during the meeting.
Al-Rayyan take on Al Shahania in their next QNB Stars League tie.
Al-Rayyan won the QNB Stars League in the 2015-16 season winning the title with five rounds to spare.
