The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has issued a circular regarding the annual leave of players, the resumption of daily training and the completion of the Second Division league.

The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has issued a circular regarding the annual leave of players, the resumption of daily training and the completion of the Second Division league.

The details of the circular are as follows :

A: Approving the results of the teams participating in the Second Division namely Al Kharaitiyat, Al Markhiya, Muaither, Mesaimeer, Al Shamal, Al Bida, Lusail, and Al Waab until the end of the second section only, which ended on 19/2/2020 with the cancellation of all the results of the matches that were held during the third phase on the condition that the number of matches played for each team is 14 matches.

B: Completing the league with the establishment of the third phase of one round between the following sports club teams only: Al Kharaitiyat, Al Markhiya, Muaither, Masaimeer, Al Shamal excluding the following teams: Al Bida, Lusail and Al Waab), where each team plays a number (4 games) in addition to the number of games mentioned above.

C: As for the procedures for resuming daily training and completing the second degree league, the following has been decided:

1. Players’ leave starts from 20/5/2020 and ends on 6/24/2020.

2. Determining the tests for coronavirus (Covid-19) on players, the technical, administrative and medical staff during the period from June 25 to 27.

3. Players can resume daily exercises on 28/6/2020.

4. The resumption of the Second Division will take place on 12/8/2020.

It is mentioned that the league’s standings were modified after the end of the matches of the second phase of the league after excluding the results of Al-Bida – Lusail – Al-Waab), so that the overall arrangement is as follows after 14 matches were approved:

First – Al Kharaitiyat with 30 points.

Second – Al Markhiya with 23 points.

Third – Muaither with 23 points.

Fourth – Mesaimeer with 21 points.

Fifth – Al Shamal with 20 points.
