QFA's Disciplinary Committee Meets to Discuss Mechanism of Work

The Disciplinary Committee of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) held its meeting via video conferencing system on Thursday. The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the Committee Hassan Al Hammadi and attended by all its members. The mechanism of work during the coming period under the current circumstances was discussed during the meeting. 

The latest reports issued by the QFA and Qatar Stars League (QSL) regarding recent activities and the mechanism for the return of sports activity were also discussed. 

The Disciplinary Committee issued today a decision warning some technical staff for not committing to the protocol approved for the return of football activity for the 2019-2020 season during the COVID-19 pandemic. A warning was issued to Al Rayyan coach Diego Aguirre in accordance with Article 44 and Article 3/2/9 of the disciplinary regulations along with a fine of QR 30,000. 

 Another warning was issued to assistant coach of Al Sadd Oscar Hernandez in accordance with Article 44 and Article 3/2/9 of the disciplinary regulations along with a fine of QR 30,000. 

During its meeting, the Disciplinary Committee called for adherence to the instructions of the QFA and the QSL and the application of the medical protocol for the return of sports activity in a proper way that guarantees safety for all.
