Seven racers qualified for the final of the third edition of the Qatar Online Racing Championship designated for the WRC8 rally category, after third and final round of Qatar Online Racing Championship ends.
The seven finalists are three from Group A: Omani Zakariya Al Ofi, Khalid Al Maraghi and Mansour Dbeissy; and four from Group B: Omani Ammar Al Balushi, Ahmed Al Kholy, Kuwaiti Mashari Al Thefiri, and Adel Abdullah.
The third round was strong and exciting. In Group A, in which 6 racers participated, Mansour Dbeissy won the first place, achieving a time of 35:44.872 secs, ahead of Khaled Al Maraghi who came second with a time record of 36: 42.110 secs, while the Omani Zakariya Al Ofi finished third with a time of 36:43,031 secs, Ahmed Al Kuwari fourth with a time of 39:23,586 secs, Patrick Roux fifth with a time of 39:44,409 secs and Misfer Al Hajri sixth with a time of 40:13.494 secs.
In Group B, Ahmed Al Kholy managed to win first place in the decisive third round after he scored the fastest time of 35:33.486 secs, ahead of Kuwaiti Mashari Al Thefiri who came second with a time of 35:40.623 secs, followed by Omani Ammar Al Balushi with a time of 36:03.815 secs, while Adel Abdullah finished fourth, achieving a time of 36:05.058 secs.
The final race will be held on Monday and will decide the first five.
