Akram Afif has been ruled out of action for the upcoming period due to an ankle injury sustained while training with Al Sadd.
After a medical examination, the extent of the injury was revealed and the Qatari international will now require 3-4 weeks of treatment and recuperation before rejoining the team for training with the Al-Sadd first team.
Meanwhile, Al Sadd squad wrapped up preparations for the QNB Stars League Round 19 game against Al Ahli, with a final training session on Sunday evening at the club’s training centre. The match will kick off at 4:30 PM on Monday at Al Janoub Stadium.
