The Qatar Table Tennis Federation (QTTA) General Assembly approved the schedule of tournaments for 2020-2021 season.
The assembly was held under the chairmanship of QTTA President Khalil Al Mohannadi, who also heads Arab Table Tennis Association, and in the presence of representatives from Al Ahli, Al Arabi, Qatar SC, Al Sadd, Al Gharafa, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Shamal and Al Khor clubs.
The General Assembly unanimously decided to ratify the decisions of the Clubs Game Development Committee, which was formed on October 28 last year under the chairmanship of QTTA secretary Mohammed Abdullah Saleh.
During the meeting, it was decided that Qatar will several international events from February 20 to March 13 including the WTT Middle East Hub.
The qualifiers for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics will also take place between March 13 to 20.
Up next would be 25th Asian Table Tennis Championships from September 1 to 10 followed by the Qatar International Junior Championship from October 9 to 16.
As for foreign participation, Qatari clubs will participate in the Arab Championship in Jordan next August, and the Arab Clubs Championship in Lebanon in October.
The Assembly also approved the financial report for the year 2020, and the budget as well.
