Legendary Omani football player visits National Museum of Qatar

Legendary Omani football player Ali Al Habsi visited the National Museum of Qatar (MNoQ).

He was welcomed by Abdullah Yousif Al Mulla, director of 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, delivered a presentation on 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, and led a guided tour of the NMoQ.

Al Habsi gifted his special football jersey the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum’s collection. He wore the jersey during the FA Cup Final, where his team, Wigan Athletic, won 1-0 against Manchester City.

Al Habsi was the Oman national team’s goalkeeper and played in a number of clubs in England and Saudi Arabia from 1998 until 2020.

In 2016, Al Habsi established the Al Habsi School of Football in Muscat.

The academy has used his professional experience at Al Hanbsi to develop a complete training methodology aimed at supporting football stars of the future
