The Gulf Cup Football Association recommended that a meeting of the presidents of the Gulf federations be held within one month make the final decision to name the country that will host the 25th Gulf Cup.
This came during the meeting of the Executive Office led by President of the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani, today Wednesday through video conference with all members and the Secretary General of the Federation participating.
The meeting discussed many topics that were on the agenda, as the minutes of the first meeting of the Executive Office for the year 2021 were approved, and the President of the Federation and members of the Executive Office reviewed the report of the committee to study hosting files presented by Vice President of the federation and Chairman of the Committee Dr. Jassim bin Muhammad Al-Shukaily to Study the Files for Hosting the Gulf Cup.
Secretary General of the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation Jassim Al-Rumaihi, said that the meeting of the executive office of the federation was positive by the participants, as it considered the interest and development of football in the gulf, which is the goal pursued by the Federation and all members.
Al-Rumaihi added that the decision to decide the country hosting the Gulf 25th Gulf Cup will take place within a month from now through a meeting to be held by the heads of football federations in the Arab Gulf states who represent the General Assembly.
The Secretary General of the Federation indicated that everyone is keen to hold the tournament that has a special place in the hearts of the people of the Gulf and to show it at the level that befits it, and that everything that is in the interest of Gulf football and national teams, representing an important pillar for the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation and the brothers in the federations who are in charge of the tournament is of the utmost importance.
